I dont know if this has been talked about, but i am about to do it anyway.

I ahve been trying to get placebo tickets for ages now for the blackpool gig and they sold out, i have tryed on E-bay and through private people, now my gripe is that Blackpool Empress ballroom have let people like the greedy WANKERS on E-bay buy up to 30 tickets at a time, do you think thios is right and should be allowed, because to me it just makes people like myself and mu son unable to go to concerts, there are in my opinion way too many people buying tickets and posting them on E-bay, to me they are greedy wankers who should have they're e bay account erased.

I know that there are cases beyond anyones control and that things happen so that you cant go to a concert that is fine, but when you see adverts for tickets on e-bay and they mostly by the same seller who live miles away from blackpool it just makes me SCREAM!!! I hate them all.

I've seen tickets for Give It A Name for £200 on eBay. -_-

It shouldn't be allowed to happen, but unfortunately there are some greedy people out there.

making it totally difficult for people like me to go to concerts. When stereophonics played blackpool they were only allowed to sell 2 tickets per person and that was on the orders o the phonics.

They'll never have got rid of them all, though.

The sad thing is, there was only one decent band playing at Live 8.

Ever do that thing when you were a kid?

Get a really good toy but just play with the packaging? It's like Live 8. It doesn't really matter what was in it, it was the idea behind it.

But, just for the record, I agree with you. And that was Velvet Revolver, in my opinion.

I know, but it still wasn't worth paying £3000 quid for. If that £3000 went to Africa to help the people in need, then fine, but it went into the back pocket of a ticket tout, which isn't right in my opinion.

And...Velvet Revolver?
Pffft
It was so Pink Floyd. Very Happy

Actually, two good bands. Them and The Who.

No, I didn't mean about the money lol. That comment I made was directed at the "only one good band" sentence lol.

Pffffffffffffffffft @ Pink Floyd. Velvet Revolver are better, waaay. lmfao lmfao

The Floyd deserve respect thought. And the Who are okay, I'd forgotten about them.

I buy tickets off ebay, if i need to go to a gig. I also sell tickets on ebay if i can my hands on them, there was a time when i believed it was wrong and i still think it is.

but if you can't change the system.....exploit it.

granted i don't buy 30 tickets, in fact most ticket stations will put a 6 tickets maximum on accounts, but i managed to get 4 red hot chilli pepper tickets for earls court so i'm selling two of them. I don't feel bad about it because i've had to buy tickest of obscene amounts of money.
