Necrophilia

I think that the thing is, as someone wisely pointed it out, necrophilia is just one more aberration. What is the most important why we strongly disapprove necrophilia is because the corpse can't say 'no'. Well, looking at it in this way, corpse can barely say anything. What I mean is that of course tree can't speak either and messing with it is an aberration for a human too. Just, necrophilia is so disguisting for some people because the normal state of tree is an inanimated state and for people it is normal to live and move and behave in some way.

Rape is only rape if the act is done without consent.

Would you be saying the same if the body consented whist it was still alive?.

Also, we need to shake off the idea that necrophiliacs just go and have intercourse with a random corpse, anytime, anywhere. What if you loved the person?.

The definition of rape is ''The crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse.''

Technically if a corpse did not consent before death then you could class it as rape, as the law does not make clear if the definition extends death.

However i think the bigger question is not, whether it's rape seeing as the decease cannot feel pain but rather the moral aspects of Necrophilia and why people are drawn to it.

Necrophilia usually consist witht he destruction of grave sites, as necrophlilia is not usually about love, but power which is why many high profile serial killers used to have sex witht he bodies of their victims.

Not to mention the emotional drama the deceased family would feel if they found out there grandmother, daughter, brother had been used in a degrading fashion.

not to mention the health risks involved, dead people aren't exactly clean.
