State Radio Falling In Love With The Board
Age: 33 Gender: Male Posts: 6583 | March 11th, 2006 at 05:43pm I've never read it. My dad says it's great though, and I know Billie Joe wrote a song about the character Holden Caulfield. What's it about? I might read it. |

 | March 11th, 2006 at 10:00pm I have ... about two more chapters in the book.
It's my favourite book that I've read.
A lot of my teachers come up to me and say, "Molly, you know, Catcher in the Rye is one of my favourite books." then they, like, pick it up and look through it with some weird, goofy smile on their face. xDD |

I'm reading it now in english, cause I hate some our words.
Yeah, the character's a bit on the same wavelength as me. That's what I like about books, that I can relate to the character.
Does anyone know that John Lennon's killer claims that this book told him to shoot him?? 0.0 |

that made laugh because I feel the exact same way. XD
It's still an awesome book. My dad thought it was boring because there was too much repetition and blah blah blah. But he still liked it. and so did I. I wasn't supposed to read it until sec.5 (because english ian't my first language.) but I read it last year (sec.2) and reread it last week. It's even better the second time. or third. XD |
