This is a series of video games. Very Happy

Silent Hill: A father, Harry Mason, and his daughter, Cheryl, go on vacation to a town called Silent Hill after the mother dies. On the way there, they swerve off the road when a mysterious figure is seen in the middle of the road. Harry awakes to see his daughter is gone and walks into the foggy, nightmare world of Silent Hill. You play to find his daughter and discover the secrets of the mysterious town. A movie based on the game is coming out April 21.

Silent Hill 2: You play as James Sunderland. He goes to Silent Hill after recieving a letter from his deceased wife that says she's waiting for him. When you get there, you find Silent Hill has changed totally from how you remembered it and you play through the game to find out how his wife actually died and if she's really there.

Silent Hill 3: In this one, you play as Heather Mason, the daughter of Harry Mason. (If I told you how his daughter's name changed, I'd ruin the ending of the first one) You start out at a mall where a mysterious man questions you. You go to the bathroom to sneak out the window, but you find the exit is blocked by a truck. You go to another entryway to find a horrible creature. You play through the game to find how you are a part of the goings-on of the town.

Silent Hill 4:The Room: I haven't played through this game, but you start out in your apartment and find a note on your door that reads 'Don't Go Out'. You see in the bathroom there is a hole in the wall. Entering it leads to something of another world.

So if you've played it before, tell me what you think about it.
If you haven't, I highly recommend you play at least one of them. Wink
It's a tense, scary game, but it's great in my opinion.

I don't think it's been rated yet but I'd think it'd be a rated R movie.

punk_in_drublic: I picked up the x-files game at Blockbuster and didn't rent it cause it looked too scary. Shifty

Relion: xD I kind of thought she looked a little drugged up too.

Gustavatron.: Yeah the third one's really good. My brother doesn't really like The Room. I think it's the scariest one. >.<

I love the games (not played 4) they mess with my mind big time!

Stuck the 3rd one on the other day and completed it in 3 hours - I had a day off so thought I might do something Cool Absolutely love the room in the alternative hospital with the mirror (blood starts appearing all over the walls and consumes Heather).

The 1st one I've started playing again, after seeing the film - the first part has to be one of the most scary things ever commited to gaming, I remember when we first got it and my Mum decided she would play it first - she got to that part and practically threw the controller at me 'You do it Hannah, its too scary for me!'.........good times! How was it a rip off of Resident Evil?
RE was about a city being consumed by zombies.
SH is about a town that is being consumed by a girl's nightmares. Confused
