Using the payphone when we stopped to call the promoter, or find the house show, or call home and hope someone would be there to answer at the exact moment in time cause later that night you’d be in a dive bar in some ghetto, or a house party out in the middle of the woods and there wouldn’t be a fucking pay phone if your life depended on it, and hell sometimes your life did depend on finding a payphone. What the the fuck am I being nostalgiac for? I really don’t know. Its a friday at one in the morning and I’m re-copying all the notes that are on scraps of paper that were stuffed in my suitcase. Touring is easier these days, sidekicks and gps and wireless signal in most cities, if you ask me I’d rather ask raving lunatics where the show is, I’d rather wander around and through back city streets, I’d rather take a fucking adventure then be wired up on tour like young bands are these days. No wonder 18 year olds in one year old bands are snorting cocaine like champs and fucking underage girls these days, the thrill of the tour is OVER except for actually being at the show. Lame if you ask me. Here’s where I start some hype about a few things. - I have two wunderland war shirts printed and ready to be sold in the near future, they are limited to 100 of each design. They are printed on american apparel t shirts, for those who don’t know, they are manufactured in L.A. Under no sweatshop conditions. Each shirt comes with stickers. Go look at the site while your at it. wunderlandwar.com - I just sent off the art and music to the pressing plant to press “in with the out crowd” 12″ vinyl record. - if you go over to our myspace, which for the slow is myspace.com/lessthanjake you can vote for your fave 3 songs from every song we have written. The top 15 songs we will included in our setlist for the world tour we have coming up. - speaking of touring, we will have 4 represses of old shirts out on tour with us to celebrate playing some old songs. Pezcore, losing streak, hello rockview, and ” jake, more than jake, les than jake” shirts will be out with us this time around.  |
