CemeteryDrive:
thursday...

ABSOLUTLEY AWESOME!
TLE were awesome, Dropkicks were a let down which annoyed me as they are usually really good, but LTJ. MY GOD.
Seriously the best night of my life.

Opened with All my best friends are metal heads, then Overrated. At some point in between these songs I appeared at the barrier right in front of Roger. Still confused as to how I got there but I think it involved elbowing someone in the head... but anyway...

Brilliant set list although a distinct lack of Dopeman, Nevous in the Alley and Scott Farcas... which would have topped the night off perfectly... 9th At Pine, Ghosts of Me and You, Al's War, Automatic, Happyman, History of a Boring Town, PS. Shock The World, Great American Sharpshooter, Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts...

Chris got an old ish couple up on stage with them and tried to make them reinact a porn movie which thankfully didnt happen, they just danced away at the back of the stage.

It was one of the Dropkicks' members birthday so they brought him out on stage for Jagermeister shots and we all sang Happy Birthday.

Encored with Rest of My Life which was beautiful, Gainsville Rock City which was mental, The Science of Selling Yourself Short and Look What Happened.

Chris had a big rant about english people saying arse and ended up sounding like Father Jack....

Apparently JR is now trained in Jitsu or however you spell it... he showed us some moves. They were... interesting

They were so funny, even though there were some jokes which nobody understood...

Lost my camera so no pictures for me Sad but I got the setlist given to me by Roger Cool Good times

They have to be one of the best live bands ever. This was the best time that Ive seen them. Perfect venue, perfect band, perfect atmosphere, perfect.

And there was confetti!! I love confetti Very Happy
MY FRIEND WAS AT THAT CONCERT. Apparently Roger fed him lmfao lmfao lmfao

I FUCKING SAW THEM LAST NIGHT!

Billy No Mates: Missed their set Sad

The Living End: Were pretty damn kickass. Their guitarist is absolutely stupidly insanely good. And they have the coolest double bass ever.

Dropkick Murphys: First couple of songs were okay... but the set just felt like one long song. They ALL sounded the same. I don't like Irish punk either, which doesnt help much.

Less Than Jake: ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INCREDIBLE! I was right at the front for the whole set, everyone but Vinnie came over and danced in front of me, and loved my hardcore Pez waving :]]]. They couldn't have played a better setlist either, they played all my favourite songs except Nervous In The Alley, Scott Farcas, Happyman and Mostly Memories. Which when you think of how many kickass songs they have isn't many Smile

Didn't meet them Sad my dad parked in a car park which closed at 12 so I had to go pretty quickly. But next time, I am determined to meet them.
They were actually hilarious as well lmfao Chris invited 2 dads up on stage to have a beer drinking contest. Of course about 5 came up, and Chris invited this fat girl out of the crowd to do a "kinky dance" for him lmfao It was quite disturbing but funny.

Check out JUST how killer their set was... this is pretty much in order, their might be a couple mistakes though:

All My Best Friends Are Metalheads, Overrated, Ghosts Of Me And You, Automatic, Al's War, History Of A Boring Town, Sugar In Your Gas Tank, Help Save The Youth Of America From Exploding (albeit a lack of finger tapping from Chris Sad), Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts, P.S Shock The World, Last One Out Of Liberty City, My Very Own Flag. The encores were The Rest Of My Life, Gainesville Rock City, Look What Happened and The Science Of Selling Yourself Short

Every song was incredible, but I especially liked Automatic, PS Shock The World and Rest Of My Life, they were lushhh Smile

I have some piccors , I'll put them up ASAP Smile
Oh, I also got a Tshirt, it's bright blue and doesnt really suit me but oh well Razz AND I found out that PS Shock The World is being released as a single Very Happy WHICH IS AWESOME! I so hope they make a video for it.

Oh me too, definitely. He has a lesbian haircut now. MY friend has exactly the same. He's called Chris as well Razz
It was coolest when it was like that, but I liked it when it was black as well... actually Chris has bad some pretty bad ass haircuts over the years. ^_^ What a legend
