On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, how good are they live?

I'd say 9.
And that's not because they're my idols, but they sound pretty much the same as in the studio live.
But they don't play much old stuff.

Sounding the same live or in studio is pretty amazing, though. Some bands sound decent on a CD, but sound horrible live *cough*MCR!*cough*

Oh, yeah, I was toggling between a 9 and a 10.
Evanescence is apparently really terrible live.
Of course they were going downhill after Ben left, anyway, but...

I got Black Sails in the Sunset yesterday.
I love it.

I love AFI. I have all their albums. Shut Your Mouth and DU tie as the best.

I also disagree.
MCR sounds really good on an album.
But not the same live.
No band sounds the same live.
Not even AFI.
AFI is similar to their cds, but still not exactly the same.

MCR sounds really good on an album.
But not the same live.
No band sounds the same live.
Not even AFI.

I don't own any of their other cds. They're too expensive in the stores around here. -___-

I got DU cheap (cheaper than at Wal-Mart, at least) at a local record store. It was only like $13, while it was like $19 at Wal-Mart. I don't remember how much STS was, probly around the same as DU, though.
AOD was $17, from what I remember.
All Hallows EP was $6.
BSITS was $15.
SYMAOYE was $16.
VPOY was $16.
I got DU, STS, and BSITS at the same place and they were an okay price. And then I got All Hallows EP, AOD, SYMAOYE, and VPOY at a different store and they were kind of a good price, I guess. I flipped when I saw how cheap All Hallows EP was. AOD might've been cheaper, but I don't really remember.
Amazon.com has them pretty cheap. I was gonna get BSITS off there 'cause it was only $13, I think, but then I saw it at the store and decided to get it there instead.

I was lucky and got DU for free.
And I got STS for $9.99

Some of these prices seem insane.
But that's probably 'cause of the difference in money between the US and Canada.

I've purchased all of them except for STS and DU from amazon.com, which is how I got the exact amount. For STS, I remembered that it was $7.99 + tax. DU I pre-ordered from a different site, and I don't remember the site nor the exact price. I believe it was around $6.00, and shipping is typically around $2.00. So it was definitely between $8 and $9.

Yeah, I really don't know if The Missing Frame or Summer Shudder is going to be the next single. Either way I adore both. :]

I read just before that AFI are going to be playing at one of the Live Earth concerts in July. WOO again.
