Most overrated bands ever

Here are these bands, IMO

Metallica - their last album kinda sucked and their music brings nothing new, same old riffs and lyrics
H.I.M. - Finland's worst "rock" band, with Nightwish and The Rasmus
Good Charlotte - I never liked them, I think they don't even know who to play their instruments.

ANYWAY. My list is as follows:
-Fall Out Boy
- From First to Last
- Panic! At the Disco
- Green Day nowadays
- Simple Plan (how the heck do they have so many followers?!)
- My Chemical Romance (I do like them, it's just... Meh)
- The 69 Eyes (I don't expect many of you will know them though)
And that's all I can think of atm... I'm all tired n such lol.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE try not to be too harsh on HIM though *flutters eyelashes* Please?

Well HIM had a few good songs, back from Love Metal, But I do think that they became boring. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, but everybody has the right to say, or to write in this case, his opinion.

Oh yeah, no doubt- note I didn't start bitching at you, I'm not about to go all defensive and refuse to see HIM's flaws!

And Ella- at least I know I'm not just being over critical of them now you have the same opinion

I don't know about 'overrated' bands, it's a bit too subjective and I can't actually think of any anyway ._.

I don't think that's a really fair thing to say, as you just basically wished another band death.

panic! at the disco isnt overrated

Panic! At The Disco - exceedingly dull and boring. they're NOT the most exciting band at the moment.

My Chemical Romance - they're just shite and no one can see it 'cause they fancy them.

Arctic Monkeys - brilliant band, totally fantastic, but over-hyped beyond belief.

Orson - just another pop-rock band.

Nirvana - a couple of good songs/anthems but there were way better grunge bands out there.

James Blunt - he's just pathetic.

ok i agree on all but panic at the disco but thats just bcuz i love them as much as i love green day

All amazing bands but FAR overrated. Especially The Libertines.

Almost all the bands that achieved success are some kind overrated. It's pathetic when the radio announcer is saying 'and now the best band on earth' over and over again. It can destroy the pleasure from listening, no matter how good the music is.
