| December 24th, 2006 at 05:55am *stands up proud* I am a choir dork. At the moment I'm a Soprano I, but I've sung alto parts in a few songs before. I'm only in 8th grade, so Soprano I only means that the four others and I go up to that G above the staff when everyone else goes back down to the high E. I've gotten a lot better just in this year, because last year I was so quiet that a mezzo forte was pretty much belting for me. This year I almost always sit in the last row or four, all the way in the corner, and the tenors in the front row, most towards the middle say that they can hear me and two other girls (one takes voice lessons and the other's just loud and off key) above the rest.
People think I should be in our school's show choir, but I don't like the people in it. They're all really uptight and think that they're the best singers in the school (which none of them are) so they get the most swollen heads you'll ever see. |

I took chorus again but I don't have it till next semester, which starts on January 24th. Some choruses performed at my school on Friday and it made me realize how much I miss chorus right now. |

He's nice and all, but he acts like a five year old and when the new semester people came in (including me) he didn't even teach us the music. And we were supposed to go to Toronto in May (and so were the orchestra and band kids) but we don't get to go now because not enough people were going. I was sad. I really wanted to go. |
