Here's a poem I wrote to Tre: Dear Tré, I woke up this morning, The rain was to adieu, I paced my house mourning, My thoughts were most of you, The dew outside had quit, When I began to weep, Perched on my veranda, Beneath the roof that creaks, The summer it draws near, While you're so far away, I sit here day by day, Alone with all my fears, This bench that perches me, Is set and built for two, Not five, not four, not three, A place for me and you, When the summer has passed, And I'm still sitting here, On our trestle for two, That only hosts my tears, I'll stare to the heavens, As sapphire as your eyes, My moors red as petals, Below your crystal skies, Wherever life should take you, I'd follow close behind, Anaheim to Berlin, Your song or dirty ryhme, A laughter on the wind, The man to make it right, If you only knew my name, You'd lift me into flight, To float upon your skies, The beat one of your heart, As red as the petals, That still wilt on this bench, Alas it is autumn, And there's no one around, The leaves fall to the trench, Laughter on the cool wind, But no kiss on my cheek, The roof creaks even more, If I sit long enough, Certainly it shall snow, I can hold out longer, I'll do it just to know, I'll wait for your blue skies To flight above my moors, The deepest sapphire eyes, To pierce me to the core, I'll think of you a lot, Between that time and now, I don't know how to say this, Not when, not where, not how, I'll see you on the street, And call you by your name, That be when we shall meet, We're destined to someday, You're always in my head, I refuse to tell a lie, No matter whom makes fun, I'll love you until I die, If you can't say it back, I guess that's how it goes, But I'll linger on this bench, Your sincerest love, Rose. | ThisIsGreenDay Falling In Love With The Board  Age: 41 Gender: Female Posts: 6877 | HavingAGreenDay:Three years ago before I moved because I transfered to a college in Long Island, I was walking up my grandma's driveway (she lives across the street and four houses down from me) her neighbor's dog came bounding out of the driveway for no reason and bit my right wrist FOR NO REASON! I didn't even have time to react! And when I pulled my wrist away, I screamed, and teh fucker bit my right thigh, right under my ass (I was wearnig shorts)!!!! I began to cry and scream and the neighbor finally came out into the driveway and was chasing his dog back into the yard and asking if I was okay at the same time. And then the dog got away from him and came at me again...biting the same damn wrist!!!! He didn't break skin, but I was bruised and swelling. And it took them like two months to just put the fucker down.  *is no longer a dog person since that night* |
