We don't really think about it. I think if a band starts to focus on writing music for certain segments of their audience they end up editing themselves. Our music comes from us and we throw it out there for the world to digest. If young people enjoy it that is awesome, I think our audience spans generations, we see lots of parents at shows rocking out right next to their kids. Question 2: how do you feel when you see people with green day tattoos? sent by: kmulrain It is an ultimate compliment. Tattoos are cool! If you are going to have a tattoo, why not a green day one? Honestly it is the people that are the closest to you that have the biggest influence. I would also add that anyone that has strong views on anything gets my respect. Think about what inspired you to originally write that song. That same passion that helped you write it will help you perform it. As long as you believe in yourself other people will appreciate it.
