Rik played Rick the people's poet in The Young Ones.
He's also been in Bottom, Filthy Rich And Catflap, Drop Dead Fred, The New Statesman, Merlin: The Return and many many more things.
Let's all talk about him because he's amazing!
He also does the voice of the Andrex puppy on the toilet role commercials. x |

Yeah Bottom is tremendous - mindless violence is just so right! I'm loving the pictures as well, what a versatile actor.....his Blackadder bits are just genius though!

Bigger Than Hitler, Better Than Christ? Yessum ^^ Me, Nix and Kim wrote a letter to him (because we're obssessive enough to find his agents address =D) explaining how if he didn't come out to meet us before or after the show, we were gonna dig backstage XD. We've already sent it so, fingers crossed!!
I love on Bottom series one, in the fluff bit where it shows Adrian and Rik talking to the audience, and Rik is just like "Why did the pervert cross the road? Because he couldn't get his knob out of the chicken!!"

What an amazing title for a book! I'm reading it after I've finished 'A series of Unfortunate Events..'! It's my sisters book and she said its full of filth so I'm gonna love it even more
I hope he does come and see you, you'll have to get some pictures of him

I wish they had outtakes on The Young Ones DVDs... The Bottom outtakes are hilarious! And the Guest House Paradiso outtakes are funny too, but not as funny cause you remember that it was just after Rik fell off of his quad bike and almost died.. 
Hey, everyone who has Sky Movies.. I can't remember which one it's on.. But Merlin: The Return is on on Saturday at some ridiculous time in the morning (6:30 I think..) ... But Rik Mayall plays Merlin!! Hehehehehehehe.
