MOVIE: Brokeback Mountain

Brokeback Mountain is about two cowboys who fall in love, and their struggles to be with each other despite society's look on homosexuality and their wives and/or girlfriends.

I love Brokeback Mountain.

I saw the movie alone, and being 13, it's kind of weird seeing two guys do it in a tent. But it's such a great love story, and everything about it is wonderful.

But I also think the book is better. In the movie, they add in a lot of things that didn't have to put in.

Buuuuuuut then again, BBM is one of the first movies to make me cry like a little wimp. I cried at the VERY last second, RIGHT when the credits rolled. XD;;

Brokeback was the only movie that made me... almost cry. I never cry in movies but.. aww.. it was so sad

But it was a really good movie too.

I love it because I think gay people are awesome and cowboys are pwetty.

That film makes me ill. The two times I watched it I woke up the next morning with really bad flu and I was ill for about 2 weeks.

But it was an awesome film, although I think it dragged out a bit in places.

It wasn't as great as I expected it to be, but I loved it.
Like a lot of you, it was the first movie that made me tear up.
I respect Ang Lee so much for directing this movie. ^_^

I think Im gonna have to wait till it comes on Logo [which it better or I WILL send an angry letter] or till HBO or which ever free channel picks it up. Hopefully IFC will pick it up. OMG! I just realized something they might show it on IFC in JULY!!! O_O_OO__O___

I know you didn't mean it that way, but that's a stereotype, too. It's like classifying them as different than everyone else. Actually, I'm not gonna get into this.

I swore there was a thread to this, but it appears to have vanished. Anyway, I thought taht this movie was very overhyped. Sure, it was good, and interesting movie with a touching story. However, it was not all I was expecting will such rants I had heard over it. Overall, I doubt I would see it again.

Naw dude, Independent films are those black and white hippy movies. They're always about gay cowboys eating pudding

I love Brokeback Mountain. The movie was amazing. I bawled my face off. Just the mere thought of this movie makes me ummm.....wanna watch it. And, the book is really good too. Yeah, the book.

i love that film i saw surprised i lasted till the end before i cried, it was the song at the end that tipped me over the edge it was so sad but so happy too....
