This is the single oddest poem I have ever written. Once I finished it I was basically left to wonder what the heck it was. I kind of picture it fitting to some fast-paced music. *shrugs* Again, I repeat, it's really weird so I can kinda see why some of you might not like it. Oh yeah, and my title kind of sucks, so suggestions are welcome.

And the Doctor Says, "It's Just a Case of Amnesia."

I can’t remember.

Blank spaces and blank spaces;
There’s something wrong,
Yet the monitors insist
There’s nothing wrong.

But I can’t remember.

Our eyes flicker from side to side
As our memory flashes “Access Denied”
Computers crashed and data lost,
It’s a warning hardly fit to ignore.

Is there any way to stop it in time?

Broken back-up disks,
Electric shortages.
Black out emergency,
The lights went out.

Sparks shoot up
Like signal flares.
Danger! Danger!
Up in flames.

Can anyone put out the fire?

Failures forgotten and triumphs, too.
Everything pulled away from you.
It’s fading quickly and it’s fading fast.
Run! Catch it! Never mind.

What was once the reason for a future has now been lost.

And what are we left with?
A name and a mirror.
