About

Hi, I'm Mary.
I live for my friends, for my music, and for my writing art.
I'm an aspiring photographer. Yes, I took the pictures you see above.
I was listening to the Beatles before it was trendy to do so.
I have no tolerance for ignorance or violence.
I usually have some sort of battered novel in my purse, which I'll read on the bus, or while I'm at work, pretty much whenever I have a spare moment.
I think sitting in a smoky jazz club, listening to some sweet-voiced soul singer croon out songs about broken hearts, accompanied by smooth piano arpeggio is the closest thing to heaven you can find on this planet.
"This is your life, and it's ending, one minute at a time."
There's a million things I want to accomplish in life. I want to save the world.
At this time in my life, I've gathered together such a strange assortment of music that I don't think you'd believe me if I tried to list it all for you, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and A Hard Day's Night defined my life.
I am who I am, and I make no excuses. I live my life to please myself, and I hope that one day, I'll find myself blissfully happy.

Ohhh yeah, I know exactly what you mean there and it is incredibly annoying. I like Across the Universe but I was loving the Beatles when most people I know were into the Backstreet Boys.

Ahhh, yes. I love finding Beatle people round here; makes for some deathly interesting conversations--in my opinion, anyways.
And I'm glad you like my pro. XD I assume by 'fic' you mean thebeatleworld--the thing that the picture comes from? It's actually a Beatle RP comm on livejournal, on which I play--wild guess--Pattie Boyd. XD In which case, I will be happy to link you. =P http://community.livejournal.com/thebeat leworld
[Beware. It's been going on since, like...June and there is a hell of a lot going on. o.o BUT it's my lifesource and I adore every second of it--even the ones that make me want to murder George in his sleep. XD]
SO! Yeah...btw, my sig at the point of sending you that comment, was:
"Aye, but don't rush, none of your five bar gate jumps and over sort of stuff."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't know, I thought it just sounded distinguished, like."
And it was in the exact same font as yours and in italics and the size changed for each line. 'Tis weird, aye?

Your signature on the board makes me really, really happy. As does the rest of A Hard Day's Night. :D
and, question, when did it become trendy to listen to the Beatles? cos I've loved them since I was seven.
Janie Jones, August 24th, 2008 at 10:51:11pm
Oh man yes. I have it on my iPod. Alot of sleepless nights watching that.
