Yeah, I don't think I realized who they were until I heard Brain Stew a few years later. I wish my parents let me buy their CDs earlier. I always loved them, but could never really listen to them. I can't believe they made me wait until I was 12!

The first time I remember hearing a Green Day song was when Good Riddance came out as a single on the radio when I was around two. Then I remember when Hitchin A Ride came out after that. They made a huge impact on me before I even knew it. It's pretty crazy now that I think of it. I can't believe that's stuck with me all these years.

Oh my God, my sister and I made a dance to Sk8ter Boi too! I remember my dad working out while listening to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath when I was really little. He still does now actually. Music keeps memories fresh for a long time.
