Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 3542 | September 4th, 2006 at 02:00am I look up to anyone who has the passion to make music.
But the people who got me to start playing and I look up to the most are Greg K. from The Offspring and Mike Dirnt. Greg firstly got me hooked on bass when I first heard the riff to "Come out and play" and I was really young so I said "I want to play whatever makes that noise". Then that's just remained somethign small in the back of my mind, and around Green Day...boom, Mike Dirnt rekindled that love for the sound and I finally got myself started in making music. =] |

The best drummer in the whole world. Tre' has inspired me to sign up for band today as a drummer. I don't know how the hell to play drums or read music at all be he's given me the confidance to learn how to music in one night. He's really funny, nice, and just like me from what I know. |

He has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard, and the lyrics he writes are beautiful as well. He means so much to me. <3 |

Greta Salpeter is my biggest role model/hero i think....she's plays piano like a prodigy child and she's the one that inspired me to learn (needless to say i'm not very good considering the band hasn't been around that long) and her lyrics just have so much meaning and inspiration..AND she plays guitar...i've been attempting to learn 'The Artist' recently.
Annie Hardy...she looks as if she could kick any guy's ass and the way she plays guitar....wow
And then Regina Spektor because of her lyrics and skills too. I love how she has a sense of humor when it comes to some of her songwriting |

Ville Valo. He really does have the most beautiful voice.
My guitar tutor, Lee. Serious old school metaller. Even if he does show off like hell.
James Hetfield of Metallica. If you can sing and downpick at 160bpm at the same time, then you rock. |
