Feel free to tear it apart, I'm really proud of this one. Very Happy

Angels don't always fall from heavens above.
Magic isn't always administered from vials and
cauldrons. She's an angel protagonist in a
sorcerer's society; adept at weaving enchantment
from oaken memories and hybrid paws. A faerie
princess encrusted with gooseberry green eyes and
strawberry blonde hair. It's no wonder her mortal
sweetheart fell head over heels in dizzy affection.

Her feline aura pulses with dewdrop kisses and
velvet purrs; delicate treasures which her lover
ensnares with lace and stitches into heart shaped
lockets. Affinity is organic, and can only be grown
between fertile hearts. Their love is a faerie tale
told in spell books and literature. The pages are
ripped and doused in illegible calligraphy, but the
parchment is still strong enough to grasp the senses.

She's broken the stereotype and admires her new
reflection through a pint glass; watching the auburn
textures caressing the walls. Alcohol kisses craft
her pretty tiara around her feline ears and angel
mind. They'll sleep away the toxic headaches that
come with such potions; soft flesh meeting pore to
pore and sanctuary weaved from silken pillow cases.
Teenage affection has never tasted so good.

Pixie features complimented by darkened kohl; talisman
protection hidden behind wrought iron doors. She's the
odd card cocooned in the centre of a wizard's tarot
deck. Who said the beautiful souls couldn't be outcasts,
too? Sometimes the deviant sweethearts are able to
cast the softest magic of all; coated in amniotic
innocence. Love can transcend species, too. In an age
of magic renaissance, the outcasts make the deepest marks...

It’s marvellous. A tiny bit repetitive perhaps.
You used the same words, and too many words, a bit too much.

Thank you guys.

I guess I used angel and magic a little too many times. I personally don't have a problem with using a word twice if it's using a different image or metaphor with it. I did write this pretty quickly though, so maybe I repeated a few words. And a few of the words I used don't really have any synonyms, but I'll shut up now.

Very Happy

The same words can be used twice the way you describe. It’s just the many repetitions of a lot of words that makes it repetitive.
I love the poem though, I really do. Smile
