The song also describes the State of the Nation through Billie Joe's eyes at the time, so it could also be a setting. It's about how you view things.

He also said it could be two different people. And, he also said it might be a part of a split personality. So, yes, they're the same person.

IWroteHoldenCaulfield Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie Age: - Gender: - Posts: 3	August 16th, 2006 at 04:13pm Hey everyone. So yesterday morning my friend was listening to DC101, D.C.'s local rock station. He called me up asking me if I'd heard about the tickets they were giving away on the "Elliott in the Morning" show. I hadn't heard of anything.... nor any shows that Green Day was planning on playing soon. Well I called up this morning and spoke with someone at the station and all they could tell me was "yeah, you have to call what Elliott tells you to for those." I asked about when/where/what the event was and he repeated himself and said that's all he could tell me. So my friend called in later and got the same answer. I called up the Promotions department of the station and the lady there didn't know anything about the Green Day tickets. She gave me the e-mail of the person to ask, so I will shoot that person an e-mail after I type this up. So to get to the point, has ANYONE heard anything about this?? I'm wondering if Green Day plan on playing a secret show like they did at the Viper Club years ago. I've searched and searched though (the station's web site, google, green day news sections) and can't find anything. Someone please give some answers! Thanks, Andrew
