SHOW: The Colbert Report / The Daily Show

It is like a news show only its comedy. Steven Colbert hosts it and he makes jokes about stuff going in the news. It's like Bill O'Reilly only funny.

I love this show Steven says so many things that make my laugh hystrically(can't spell). He rules!

That is refreshing. But when I told my mom some of the things he said she was like,"Steven Colbert said that?" She thought he was Democrat. But I said that if he was, then he must be democrat and like Bush. Cuz some of the stuff he says is really really republican and conservative.

Stephen Colbert's my hero and I adore the Report. And I'm pretty sure the character he's playing is supposed to be an uber-conservative Republican...but I think he's making fun of that sort of person, actually, because he's so very over the top with some of the things he says and does. According to my dad, he's supposed to be a parody of Rush Limbaugh.

Plus I've read an interview where he said he's an Independent but votes mostly Democratic.

I believe Colbert plays and egotisitcal republican on the show but i believe he is a democrat.

There's a story on both of them in the last issue of the Rolling Stone (which was at best buy today...strange)

I love that RS article. And yeahhhh, I loved when he was talking about It's a Wonderful Life and calling it Communist. "If this movie wasn't black and white, it would be ALL RED!" I love him.

I just saw an episode where he asked Dan Rather if Bush was a a great president or the greatest president. It was funny.

Ohh, I saw that episode too. And Dan eventually answered that Bush was "very great" Because Stephen wouldn't leave him alone till he answered.

OOH. I really really wanted to see that episode of the Daily Show because I love Jerry Seinfeld, and I meant to tape it but then I turned on the cable and it fucked up my VCR. *kicks it*

Did you see the one with the winner of that video thing he made.? And they had George Lucus on. That was a good episode.
