New song/poem  I just wrote it last night...I believe the motive or the point I'm trying to get across is pretty easily seen  Please tell me what you think. Don't hold back, I'm a big girl  Supermodels strut their stuff And actors go wild Teens everywhere just not feeling good enough So we hide our pain with smiles Sydney chokes back tears And coughs up her meals With a magazine in her grasp She gasps; "That's how I wanna be..." Justin likes to swallow all the pills Hoping that someday he will Be released from all his pain And freed from all the pressure Supermodels strut their stuff And actors go wild Teens everywhere just not feeling good enough So we hide our pain with smiles Jada cuts herself up And beats herself down Wishing that she was no longer around With a gun to her head She's making her bed Six feet under ground Supermodels strut their stuff And actors go wild Teens everywhere just not feeling good enough So we hide our pain with smiles ...Is that who you want me to be? Is that how I'm suposed to look? Are you telling me That that's what you wanna see? All these pictures Are lies Yet we cry We bleed We starve We die Because of the Supermodels who strut their stuff Making us think we're not good enough And all those Actors who go wild Forcing us to hide our pain with smiles |

And a user posted in it again to bring it back to life when the thread should have been quiet, therefore allowing more recent poems to get the comments that they deserve. Or at least I think that's the whole reasoning behind it. All I know is that you're not supposed to post in dead threads that the last action was at least three weeks before. But it doesn't really matter now, so as long as you understand it, I'm going to leave your poem be.  |
