Posts: 74 | October 3rd, 2006 at 09:48pm yesterday my mom and i went to amoeba and apparently [my mother witnessed this, not me] there was some guy behind her in line buying the clash's first album, and he forgot the name of london's burning so he sang part of it to show how cool he was that he knew a clash song and then he was talking about how he bought a clash shirt in west hollywood but it got ruined when he washed it, and i was like if you didn't own that album or even know the title of the song then why the hell did you buy a clash shirt?! |

oh. sorry. its ok because i have only been to the east coast once, for two weeks in fifth grade so i would not be too knowldgeable if you were to talk about places people shop there. unless you were talking about frederick, maryland because that was where i was for most of the time. melrose is a street in west hollywood with lots of thrift stores and vintage stores, but also some designer stores, probably most well-known being fred segal. they also just opened a paul frank store there, and i went to the opening.  |

yeah, i was gonna go there when i was there but i couldnt cause the whole sniper thing was going on while i was there. we couldn't go to the capital either. |
