A hard-rock/alternative band, formed by frontman Joshua Homme.
Current line-up is:
Josh Homme - Vocals/Guitars
Troy Van Leeuwan - Guitar/Bass
Joey Castillo - Drums
Alain Johannes - Bass/Guitar
Natasha Shneider - Keys
Mark Lanegan - Guest Vocals
[It will probably change again for the latest album though, so this will soon be different]
The line-up has changed significantly throughout the bands career, spanning the albums: Queens of the Stone Age, Rated R, Songs for the Deaf, Lullabies to Paralyze, and the live album/DVD "Over the years and through the woods."
Queens of the Stone Age was formed after the breakup of Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri's former band "Kyuss", and was originally named Gamma Ray.

I've never seen the video. But I scared my mom the other day because I yelled "WHOAAA!" really loud when it came on the radio. |

 | July 9th, 2007 at 08:20pm Man, I almost made another thread on them.
I missed this band twice, but they are AMAZING. I have their new album, Songs For The Deaf and Lullabies to Paralyze. (My friend met them <_<.....)
Does anyone have "Era Vulgaris"? If so, what do you think of it? |
