Gerard's singing has noticably improved.
And i'm sure i would have noticed that at my concert
if it wasn't for all the goddamn screaching screaming.
i couldn't even hear him.

ohhhh...i'm sorry you fell. hope your okay. but it was for a worthy cause. ;]

Floating On Ice.:
I just got back from seeing them live.

My word.

Best night of my life.

My ankle kills; I ell down some steps and then kept afalling over.

But, it was well worth it. They were unbelivable.

Hell, they're better live than in the studio!

Was this show the one in which Bob was very drunk?

And that sucks about your ankle ._.

i was about 3 people back from the barrier, right in front of mikey and gerard all night - it was amazing! frank jumped into the crowd just to the side of me, but everyone was pushing so much i couldnt reach him! but later on he caught me eye and started singing with me, then forgot the words xD

okay, so maybe i assisted in some of the screaming....but it was
still loud as hell. it's crazy. Rocksound magazine said, "Never before has
earplugs been so necessary, not because of the band but because of the
fans."

Well, when you get the sheer intensity of adrenaline of seeing them on stage, fer real, in person, in the gorgeous flesh, singing and performing purely for you...

...what else can you do.

....be quiet and actually enjoy it? Shifty

I don't think I could scream too much at a concert.....I don't think enough energy resides in me to do that.

You could but I'm a loud person and it's a gripping thing the wave of the sensation inclines you to do.
Well it obliges me.

Tbh, I scream a bit, sing the words but when I cave in I just mouth them. But, man, I am so passionate at gigs. I'm holding my hair and expressing myself so much as if I was in a Mariah Carey music video.

It's embarrasing, but with fans like us...

I could hear the fucking girl behind me more than I could hear Gee-Gee most of the time ;_;
She was a stupid girl wearing fishnet gloves who waved her camera phone in front of my face most of the time ;_;
Until I elbowed her and pushed her arm back. Yay!

You'll scream; trust me.
On the second Brisbane night I was so exhausted my legs gave out after the show, I was clutching the barrier so stay standing. And yet, I screamed.

Seriously, you can go in there with half your voice gone going, "My throat is killing me, I think I'll just enjoy the show." And by the time he gets to, "But when I grow up, I want to be NOTHING AT ALL" you're yelling back every single word, screaming back as loud as you can because while they're up there, you want them to know that you believe them. You believe them and you don't care about anything other than showing them how much of your heart is in these songs, showing them that every word he sings, you feel it too. That you live by these songs, and that you are going to put every single last drop of emotion you can into screaming them out as loud as your voice will allow. There's no time for singing; you need to spit it out and look up at these men, these men that keep you strong and keep you going each and every day. At that point, you don't even care about anything else in the world. All your problems of your life leave your mind and there is nowhere you would rather be; sweat pouring off your body, jammed against people and dehydrated like a bitch.
And maybe, just maybe, Gerard will look at you for a brief second and he'll smile, knowing how passionate you are about these words that he wrote.
And that, my dear friend, is why you will scream.

lmfao at the Mariah thing

i know what you all mean. I made a fool out of myself. I never let my arms
down once. the lady in front of us was kinda drunk and told these dudes next
to us to act like us. haha and they were like, 'no'.
my arms hurt and my voice was hoarse for about a day.

I never even noticed I was singing/screaming along until after the gig when it was like "oh hay there, I've got less voice o.o" but I never actually lost my voice until the first sydney show when I figured cause I wasn't in the pit or at the barrier I'd shout the words twice as loud. So I lost my voice, got a sore throat, then I slept out that night and got sick!

I never remembered until now just how shit I actually felt. Haha damn.

Edit: back to the point, I couldn't hear him sometimes, but I couldn't hear myself either. I remember at the gold coast bdo I couldn't hear him at all. He'd say stuff and all the kids would cheer so loud and I'd be all "stfu! I wanna her the gay one speak!" so half the time I had to rely on other peoples reviews of the show to find out what he said.
