wake the dead. This Board Is My Home Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 30440	January 3rd, 2007 at 12:57am I think it's about frickin' time we had a thread on The Vandals. The Vandals are an American punk rock band formed in 1980 in Huntington Beach, California and currently recording for Kung Fu Records. They have released ten full-length studio albums and two live albums and have toured the world extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are well-known for their use of humor, preferring to use their music as a vehicle for entertainment and sarcasm rather than as a platform for more "serious" issues. Dave Quackenbush - Vocals Warren Fitzgerald - Guitar Joe Escalante - Bass Josh Freese - Drums They are really funny. And not well known at all, unfortunately. Not on GSB at least. Website. MySpace. - I definately recommend listening to 'Flowers Are Pretty'. Google vid of 'Don't Stop Me Now'. Similar artists (according to LastFM) include NOFX, Rancid, Bouncing Souls, Operation Ivy.
