If they had to play one last song I'd say Good Riddance (even though it really means fuck you lmao) or One For The Razorbacks because it's my favourite song and it means so much to me.
As for their last words, well... "We're Green Day, and we always will be."
omg that made me tear as for there last song basket case 4 all the wild and crazy times they have shared with us |

| February 12th, 2007 at 09:52am It would probably be Good Ridance but I think Homecoming is a good ending song, like with the big drums and everything. |

| March 16th, 2007 at 11:48am Rest.
Obviously. Lol.
Why? Because I think that's one of the greatest songs on 1039 SOSH. Musically and lyrically. I always thought it was great, and not only would this fulfill my dream of actually hearing them play it with Billie's voice so much improved, but it would sort of bring their career full circle... it's good to remember where you've been, ya know? |

| March 16th, 2007 at 04:04pm As for last words on the stage, I don't know, but I'm sure Billie would come up with the most inspirational and tear jerking quote ever for that... maybe that's just me thinking anything they said would be upsetting, but anyways... |

 | March 27th, 2007 at 12:47pm defiantly good riddance (time of your life)
that's like a proper "ending" song. it makes everyone cry. well, it makes me cry anyway and that's just watching the bullet in a bible !! its great because all the fireworks go off right at the end.
or...maybe..to make it even more memorable they should write a 'secret' song that doesn't appear on any of the albums and it'll be the first time ANYONE'S ever heard it - when they play it during their last performance. however..if its a last song then you need something to sing along to as loudas you can until your lungs give out.
yeah, that's what i'll do. i'll go to green day's last ever show and during the last song i'd sing so loud my heart gives up and my lungs give out and then i'll die and then i won't have to live through a life without green day. |
