Debate: Did Sid really kill Nancy??

OK so Im guessing a lot of you know about the big incident. If you don't Im not going to explain it, Read up on it.

Did Sid kill Nancy?

I didn't request you make this thread. I asked that you help me get the forum going. If you don't want to do it, don't bother.

I don't think Sid killed Nancy. He loved her, for some unknown reason. I don't think he'd want to hurt her, even if they were arguing. But then again, I don't know either of them, nor was I there when she died, so my opinion is open to debate.

I disagree with the movie. It is a brill movie, but I disagree. I think it didn't portray the relationship between the band and Sid very well.

I'm not sure about the murder though. All I know is that it was unfortunate. No matter how many times I read about it, there are just as many arguements for him killing her as there are against him killing her.

i'm staying out of this, because although i love the pistols, i hated sid. glen was a much better bassist and songwriter, but cos he didnt look right he was kicked out for an idiot who couldnt play a note. sorry, but that's not right.

Honestly, I don't know what to think.
I'm leaning towards thinking that Sid did it...I mean, he was out of it.
But, I don't really have any other really great reasons for anything else so...*walks away*

Yeah I've read an interview where Sid admitted to killing her...but I've read just as many where he denied doing it.

Nancy had problems there is no telling what went on there....she could of tried to kill him and he killed her..anything could of happened

No way, the poor sod. He loved her. Too bad she led him down a pit of despair. But, he loved her nontheless. No i am not brittish, i love the word sod.

Hmm she was hated by so many people so anybody could have killed her, I don't really care though, thank god she is dead.. that's all that matters she dead and shouldn't be turned into a celebrity.

Yeah that and I've always kind of thought "Thank God they never had a baby". That would have made their situation sooo much worse.

Anyhing is possible.
Most people who knew him say that he could have/would have never killed her. But that doesn't close the door on a crime of passion, that anger or drugs over took him, the latter is more likely.
It's also possible that a third party killed her or they tried killing themselves and things went wrong or it could have been a compleate accident.
No one knows because he died before he was tried.

But it's really unlikely that we'll ever know.

I'd say no, but maybe he could while he was stoned!

Sid loved Nancy.....But he was under the influence of drugs if my memory serves me right...
I mean he was stoned! He didn't deny killing her....But he didn't admit it either....
All he said was that he didn't remember...!
So, I don't know what to think....

Never seen the movie.
But know quite alot about the story.
He wasnt in his right mind, so technically he didnt delibrately kill her.
i do believe however there is a chnace he could have prompted the death somehow; through actions which may have killed her or even words that would push her to suicide; but as i said he wasnt in the right state of mind so it was far from intentional. and then of cource theres the likelyhood she killed herself of her own free will and the possibility of someone else killing her that night all those years ago. nobody will ever know the truth.
though it is certain he loved her.

i dont know , i dont think he would have done that to her ive seen videos with them in and they look so happy together and every or nearly every picture i have seen of them they look happy and they look in love.i dont exactly know what happened.

I think it was a suicide pact of some sort or maybe that she asked him to do it and then kill himself. I get this impression because he was known to say "I need to keep my part of the bargain" when trying to kill himself and he wrote that in his suicide note. I guess we will never know for sure... poor Sid =(
