How there was ever any confusion is beyond me. Listen to the "Money Money 2020" album (which is a truly inspired work of genius, one of the best rock records of all time as far as I'm concerned) and Armstrong's voice is all over it. I hope this article was "tongue-in-cheek" and the girl who wrote it is better at writing "tongue-in-cheek", though this site is apparently a dessert.
Green Day is a great band but they should focus on another Network album, especially now that 2020 is upon us, and their punchy, piss-taking, futuristic style and satirical lyrics are perfect for the era we are currently in. We'll see.... |
