Literagedy’s Demise
You’re a walking dictionary,
a talking thesaurus with nothing but a toxic brain-
a dash of adrenaline to quench the haze,
skies are blue but far from the shallow end.
Welcome such innocence into your fatal maze,
Where the enigma is granted a secession
far before the lesson is taught;
Where words float upon tangents of candy iridescence,
Elusive sand storms slip between her icy fingers,
The bitter harsh notes of a dying spring.
Drown in a symphony, an orchestra of glass-
Shatter the silence with your chaotic dreams of last
--years horrors, where we could surely embellish the scars,
Wipe the stones away and crash,
Our eternal avalanche can tumble,
Down,
Down,
And Gone-
Between the air, between the molecules of
analytical atoms and acidic critique-
slipped between the sidewalks to
drip,
drop,
drip,
drop from the heavens and fall yet again;
All these metaphors are just riddles in my head,
slivers of the moon in the tragedy overhead,
But I’m just a dying dictionary, serrated to the edge-
No pride or destiny to carry to a futile, dreary end.
I’m just another paper weight, drolling on and on,
Of cotton dreams unreachable, unruly pros and cons. |

Peter Petrelli King For A Couple Of Days
 Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 4161 | April 7th, 2007 at 06:16am This really deserved to be selected by your school magazine - it's fantastic. And I love how you made emphasis on structure as well as content; the shape that you gave to;
drip
drop
drip
I thought was especially clever, because it looked like it mimicked the shape a raindrop would take. And I also liked how it started in a similar fashion to the way it ended, I think there's a snazzy word for that somewhere but I can't think what it is... |

And an orchestra of glass? BRILLIANCE. FUCKING BRILLIANCE.
Honestly not sure what else to say except that I'm in love with it. |

 I love it too, I guess. One of the few I can say I'm proud of. Thanks, dear |

Absolutely compelling.
You should be very proud. Your poetic talent is brilliant.
