Falling In Love With The Board

 | April 25th, 2007 at 05:01pm Shooting stars dive criss-cross through the black velvet sky,
Darting through the maze of liquid crystals that fall so violently downward,
Hitting road after road like bullets,
Fired from a waiting gun.
Crescent moons eclipse the sun in a tribal dance of the airwaves,
Casting an elongated shadow over the weary faces of the world.
A shelter- barricade against the rays of improvidence, only seeking to burn-
Demolish all form of pleasantry- hope, leaving nothing but ashes.
Blackened tragedies stain these sinful fingertips,
Smoothing out the remains to create a message of vacancy;
Nothing left, yet all there, like oxygen in the atmosphere.
An SOS of silence- a desperate plea never heard.
We cannot be saved from our mistakes,
No matter how high or long
The burning flag waves amidst the horizon. |

It was excellent. You captured every elaborated detail of the so called, "Burning Tragedies".
Beautifully exemplified, couldn't be happier.
My favorite stanza was...
