I'm yet to see Equus though, which is Dan's only other piece (there was supposed to be something else but I haven't heard anything since) so it's hard to judge, but I've seen Rupert in a couple of things and he's always been brilliant.
And she does Hermione well a lot of the time, it's just when it comes right down to the gritty stuff she's not good enough. She was fine for the first couple of films, but now they're growing up and things are getting more intense she's falling behind a bit.
But I don't mind her most of the time, and I think if the director hadn't been happy with her performance he would have told her, so you know. |

Honestly, I think Emma was terrible in it, she's acting like she's run a mile but she's just been sitting in a bedroom until Harry gets there and she leaves these big long pauses between each sentence. It's just completely not how it was supposed to be, because Hermione was supposed to be ORHGUIFDHGAUIHGASUIHF as opposed to JEHGF IGRG OERWA QUIEWR IOFAEW KLDFCASKL.
Anyone else notice that Ron and Hermione were both wearing stripes a lot of the time when Harry wasn't? It subconciouslessy singles him out. 
Yeah, I was all " " at that. I mean, I could have done it better. 0_o
