I'm yet to see Equus though, which is Dan's only other piece (there was supposed to be something else but I haven't heard anything since) so it's hard to judge, but I've seen Rupert in a couple of things and he's always been brilliant.
And she does Hermione well a lot of the time, it's just when it comes right down to the gritty stuff she's not good enough. She was fine for the first couple of films, but now they're growing up and things are getting more intense she's falling behind a bit.
But I don't mind her most of the time, and I think if the director hadn't been happy with her performance he would have told her, so you know.
I think Emma's acting is alright, but, I agree, Rupert is clearly the best of the three.
I reckon Dan's sort of in the middle.
Other stuff Dan has/will be in
+ I saw David Copperfield on TV and....
Thats him in it. 10 years old.
bless. I cant really remember what the acting was like, tbh. It was a long time ago. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 3243 | July 28th, 2007 at 03:43am I just saw Ootp yesterday and obviously, by far, the best HP movie to date.
For the first time Dan has convinced me he can play Harry Potter.
I really was doubtful on his acting before this.
I love David Yates now. I mean, he did so much for the movie.
They are now not just little lollipop movies. They've got depth.
I really hope he does the 7th one also.
My only problem was I thought everything was kinda rushed. |

The first two ones were brilliant. I just don't like the latest 3 as much Well, OotP was the one that stuck more to the book than GoF, I think that the first three and this one are the best.
Chris Columbuse did a very good job with the movies, he made them a bit childish because they were only eleven and twelve.
Alfonso Cuarón did a great job as he made the films scarier, it stuck to the book as well.
Newell made a horrible movie, I didn't like how it was made.
And David Yates made a fantastic job with this one, tbh. |

| July 28th, 2007 at 05:31pm I loved the Prisoner of Azkaban, but then, I am very biased towards Gary Oldman's perofrmance. Plot-wise, however, I though Prisoner of Azkaban was most accurate. |

I agree. And Newell made it too like ... action-based. Lack of emotions and characters if your ask me. >_> |
