 | August 18th, 2007 at 07:14pm Idle Tuesday...I like that phrase...
And I kind of like it when people tell me what part of the concept they liked. The reviewers on FF.net are all butt-heads so... |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | August 18th, 2007 at 07:29pm Some of them are brilliant but others are just like "no I want more" when there's no possible direction you could take it in.
But some people just told me the concept of my story as their review. One sentence and it's like...hmm, yeah, I knew that when I wrote the fucking thing, the idea of a review is that you say whether it's good or bad, bien ou mal, that sort of thing, not "oh this is why this all happened"
NO FUCKING SHIT SHERLOCK.
And Idle Tuesday is taken from "Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen" by Baz Luhrmann. That man is a genius. "Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind - the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle tuesday."
That song makes me really depressed tbh. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | August 20th, 2007 at 03:35pm I feel your pain, Meg. I updated my hench WIP on Saturday and haven't had a single review, but I've had plenty of people adding it to their story alerts and favourite stories. Selfish bastards. Most of the people who have reviewed, have reviewed more than once, and I've got as many story alert people as I have reviews, which is completely GRRR.
Chapters: 8 Reviews: 32 Hits: 2959 C2s: 1 Favourites: 12 Alerts: 32
They piss me off so much. RARRRRRRR! |

And wonderful.
And beautiful. (Mostly because it's got him in it.) |

I'm so proud of myself. I don't think anyone's written anything like it.
Come to think of it, why didn't they? Its a pretty obvious concept. |

 | August 29th, 2007 at 04:22am I'm thinking of writing a Tom Riddle fic, taking place during the last year and post-Hogwarts..
It would be very, very strange, though, because it involves a girl. But there is absolutely no "love" in this story (for Tom, because that would be kind of ridiculous). No affection. No "innocent" companionship. Nothing of the sort. It'll be more like a cold kind of what would at the very most be called a "lonely relationship" It's ridiculous and wrong for the both of them, foreign...but tempting for the sake of power over one another, in that manipulative, cold nature.
Like...a tragedy. I know the idea seems farfetched. |

It sounds less far fetched than the whole Tom finds a girl who knows how to handle him and he gradually learns to love type thing - cos you get millions of those. Although I'll always enjoy reading a good one of those. |

I shall read as soon as I have a proper brain working inside me, just got back from NY like half an hour ago and I can barely think - so I shall gush all about it later.
In the meantime, I shall wonder with excitement about what the pairing may be. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | September 4th, 2007 at 10:55pm I absolutely loved it darling - yay for Bella/Voldie but also boo for unhappy ending!! But kinda yay for that too for not being unrealistic and having Voldie storm in and sweep her off her feet.
Fabulous, my dear. |
