Yet again...
This really pissed me off.
And I know I'm 12, but I'm almost 13. Plus--People lie about their age ALL the time.
People on here even have the age 9 in their information.
Why make me any different? Plus, they are offending me beyond believe. I'm about to slam my head into the wall and quit. -.- |

It doesn't give people the right to insult her. Just because someone is doing something wrong or something you think is wrong it doesn't make it okay to insult them or hurt them in any other way. Lynching is never a cool idea. |

No she actually doesn't have a right to be here. When you register for a new account there is a check box that you have to click that says I am OLDER than 13 years old
That means that if you are under 13 you can't be here.
BUT that still doesn't make it right for folks to harass one another. |

That age thing is a law, nothing he has control over, and harrasing somebody because of their age isn't okay. She has as much right as everybody else to be here. You know what?
If you have a problem with 12 year olds on this site, then you can report them, and ask for their accounts to be deleted, if it pains you SO much to have them here. Although I'm not quite sure if you can be banned for that, and I have experience in that field. You don't have any excuse to be horrible to them in the meantime. |

I'm not sure either, but I believe by lying about their age the user takes full responsibility for that lie and whatever inappropriate content they might be exposed to on the site. It's no longer the responsibility of the site owners. Or at least I would hope so.
Maybe lying about age is immature under most cirmustances, but generalizing people on account of age isn't that mature either. If those people lied about their age it's their own problem. Maybe they believe they're mature enough to be on this site, and even if they're wrong, we're not the ones to judge, let alone harrass them for it. |

myspace for example. they have this thing for kids to 14/15 (I'm not sure) that only people who know their last name/email can add them
but the kids simply change their age.
I think harassing other members because of their age is probably more immature than lying about your age. It's up to Dujo now if he allows them to stay or not. I think GSB sometimes isn't appropriate for under 13 kids. But like you guys already said, the age doesn't really say how "mature" someone is. |

It doesn't matter. Anyone below 13 lied about their age when they joined, unless they joined back when people under 13 were allowed to join with permission from their parents.
And most people who have "9" in their age on the message board are just messing around. |
