| Dehren McGhengland Rotting On Here Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 49206 | Josh Groban.:mmyes. my job will be to write reviews, you'll ask for reflections!  but mmyes i loved it. i'll review by skits: cold opening - very funny! bill is one of the best impressionists ever. i think he nailed it as eliot spitzer. monologue - it was pretty funny, i loved how will, andy, kenan, and jason came into the song and started to sing/dance with jonah. "macgruber" (both) - classic! every macgruber skit is excellent and will does an amazing job playing him. "what's your situation" - this one was prob my least favourite skit of the show, but it still had its moments. like the way jonah just casually asked "what's your situation?" "six year old" - this one was alright, too. bill hader was adorable as the shy father. and jonah got a bit annoying, but that's pretty much how six year olds can be, so kudos to that. "the suze orman show" - very well done! kristen is also great at impressions. i always cracked up the way she spoke. "andy's dad" - hilarious! jonah was so good in this one. and i give him and jim downey mad props for making out with each other. and the way bill just comes into the skit at the end and says "we've been fucking!" is a great ending! musical performance 1 ( "touch my body" ) - it was good. the song got stuck in my fucking head afterwards, though. [b]weekend update - i always look forward to this during the show! amy and seth have great chemistry and the jokes were hilarious, like the brilta britta filter! and it was awesome that tracy morgan was on it, it was the best whenever he said "bitch may be the new black - but black is the new president, bitch!" "target" - it was ok. kind of shows how annoying some cashiers can be, and kristen was good at showing that. "nbc special report" - this one was very funny. i loved how they were just accusing "john mccain" of being old lmao. and the old couple (amy and fred (oh fred is finally in a skit besides the breif appearance in the "six year old" skit)) were the best! "clancy t. bachleratt and jackie snad sing songs about spaceships, toddlers, model t. cars & jars of beer" - this one was awesome too! will and kristen are great singers, and i loved how they could keep up with each other. and even how jonah was laughing during the skit. and the kiss that will gave kristen at the end of one of their songs was just about the cutest thing i've ever seen! musical performance 2 ( "migrate" ) - euuh, i didn't care for this song. and t-pain is a bit annoying. first date lies - i actually really loved this one! it shows how great of a comedian casey is, i'm glad she's being promoted to repertory player in the new season. |
