BAD NEWS: AMY POEHLER TO STAR IN "THE OFFICE" SPINOFF
k so this might not seem like bad news when you first read the title, but it is.
she confirmed to the press that she'll be joining this show which she is expected to star in.
when the new season of snl starts in fall, she will be on the show during the presidential debates.
but after that, when the new show starts, we don't know what to expect for the spring episodes of snl.
to sum it up: amy poehler may be leaving snl this season.
GOOD NEWS: SEASON 34 OF SNL PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 13, 2008
yup, the premiere date is official.
the new season is expected to consist of 22 episodes, 2 more than the average season of snl.
this is because they will be doing some extra stuff surrounding the presidential debate.
on almost every thursday starting the second week of october (from 9:30 to 11:00 PM), they will be having a show called "snl weekend update thursday" which will be anchored by the show's signature WU.
