| Valium Knight Idiot  Age: 87 Gender: Female Posts: 622 | Trainspotting came out in 1996 its based off the book by Irvine Welsh. The film mainly focuses on Mark Renton and his attempt to give up his heroin habit, and how this affects his relationship with family and friends(fellow heroin addicts). Its a great movie. I loved it and recommend it. I have yet to read the book but I plan on doing so sometime soon.  |

I had to go by myself because my friend couldn't come and I couldn't bring anyone else 'cause you needed a ticket and everyone else seemed to be older than me. aha. It was lovely though. We all sat down upstairs and he came out with a bottle of beer and read abit of his new book, did a Q&A thing, then if we wanted books signing, we queued up at the desk at the front. By the desk there were copies of his book and some of his others, and since I think my copy of Trainspotting has gone walkabout I bought that aswell as the new one and asked if he minded signing that too, as some other people had a couple. I was like lolol now I'll have two and he's like 'Excellent!'. Bless. I told him my name cause he asked who he was making it out to then shook my hand and he was like 'Thanks for coming Amandarrr'. *reminds self never to lend out either of those books* |
