 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:28pm Because, if you didn't have it,
Then in the case you were to get it,
You could take it... |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:30pm ... Right, you completely lost me.
If I didn't have kidney disease, then I could take Tamiflu? Yes, that's very true. Only I do and I can't. "What if's" don't really work in this situation. |

And you understand that, I know that you do. |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:39pm Don't be condescending.
It is a different situation to some people, who could take the vaccine and be cured. However, just because it's something other than what you are currently living doesn't discount it at all. Millions of people have afflictions that mean H1N1 is actually quite a threat and just because you don't find it "deadly" doesn't mean the rest of us are going to go through a week of feeling like shit, taking meds and gradually getting better. |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:44pm I am not, you are being dramtic, and over nothing.
There are things that I can get and can't be cured of, just like you,
But I am not going to attake someone for not feeling like its deadly.
Or something, I don't even care I ignore it.
Because fearing you might get it, just increase your chance OF getting it. |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:48pm 1. I was hardly being dramatic, and i'd like to think my life is not "nothing."
2. Also, I wasn't attacking you. I was making points against the things you had said. You know, in a debating sort of way.
3. If you don't care about it, stop debating about it.
4. How exactly would this work then? |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 04:48pm ...How is she being over dramatic? Because if she ever gets it she can't be cured?
Oh, yeah. makes sense. |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 05:00pm I don't know what you are talking about for four.
I don't care about getting sick and not being able to be cure, me personaly, though you may.
And I think that you should think your life is worth something,
I never meant to imply that it wasn't, and if I did, I am sorry.
And, I mean she is being overly dramatic about how me saying her not being able to be cured is a differen't case.
I didn't say "Oh well, you don't count nor matter, because it can't be cured for you"
I merely said that it was a differen't sittation from those of us that don't have a illness, if that's correct, that prevents us from being cured.
.......I hope that covers everything.
And doesn't tick anyone off. |

Is what four was referencing.
You've basically spent your time in this thread saying how H1N1 isn't deadly, and how it's exactly like regular flu. The reason behind bringing up my own medical condition was to point out that it actually is quite deadly, and isn't like regular flu. Regular flu wouldn't 'cause me anything terrible other than having to put up with the flu.
Also the fact that people have died of it, would make it deadly anyway. Considering that's kind of the definition of deadly. |

Erm. So you didn't address this in your last reply, but just to confirm - are you actually suggesting that the more frightened you are of catching H1N1 flu, the higher your chances are of catching it? jw.

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 05:12pm Regular flu has killed more.
I have been trying to state that it's just like regular flu,
Only maybe regular flu is worse.
And,
Regular flu can kill people to,
People can be unable to take it's med. just as you are to swines med.
I don't see it as deadly,
Yes I know what deadly means.
And yes I know that swine has killed.
But still, I don't see it as deadly.
If you even understand how I am using deadly. |

No, i'm sorry. I honestly don't see how you're using deadly.
Deadly means "to 'cause death."
How exactly do you mean it? |

yeah, except you can't just make up a whole new definition for a word. if people die from it, it's pretty safe to say it's deadly. |

 | November 3rd, 2009 at 05:23pm I am sick of you all being smartasses about my use of deadly.
Really...like you have never used a word with another deff. in other context.
I am not even going to go on.
This is the dumbest debate ever.
And I really don't feel like carrying on with it.
However, I don't feel that Peardrops has been rude, or ignorant...
So I will continue to talk to her..
When I sa deadly...
Lets see, how do I really describe this..
When I say deadly,
I mean that I don't think that people need to fear it like they are,
And that it's not just some killer that has no cure, and so when you get it,
You are for sure to die, and have no hope.
Does that make sense?
I am not trying to change the deff. of a word |
