I said this in another thread, but after last week I was a little bit down about the fact that I'm quite ill at the moment (I've got ME, I've had it for two years now and I've only just got a formal diagnosis and I'm getting a treatment plan on Tuesday - HURRAH!) and didn't fully enjoy seeing Green Day as much as I should've - rather than being stuck to the barrier like I would've been a few years ago, I had to drop back way too soon. I considered going to London for the FBHT gig, but couldn't as I was too exhausted. So I was feeling sorry for myself all weekend and Monday morning and I finally decided that instead of moping around, I'd just try everything I could to be better for the next time they toured the UK and make sure I enjoy it tons more. THEN I saw on my crazy BBC Ticker that I use at work about their UK stadium dates in June...  If that isn't a sign to buck up and stop feeling sorry for myself, I don't know what is. I thought they wouldn't tour again for ages. I probably won't be BETTER better by June, but I'm staying pretty optimistic and there's always a possibility that I can be fine by then. Either way, I'll have been on my treatment plan for ages by then so should at least feel better. WINNER  |

It could be a cocktail of vitamins, or I might have a food intolerance that's making things worse, or I could get an exercise plan to build up my strength... we'll see! It has REALLY sucked the past two years, especially as it was over sixth form and meant I didn't go out much - I got really reclusive and grumpy for a while. But I will enjoy June. Definitely  |
