Don't ask, don't tell

Although I may have some perplexing ideas,
of love and war. Although sometimes I act
a little strange, you still hold my hand through
the thunderstorms at night. The lightning illuminates
your bleached blonde hair and now I think: I can.

I'm barely considerable to be a Romeo, for such a
spellbinding Juilet. I can't fight bravely, I can't offer
miraculous escatsy. And yet; yet; yet;

is that what you want?

The starlight shines brighter than the morose moon.

Shine on, shine on.

The taffata may have been be ivory,
will you stay?

Hold my hand again.

Grass stains seem beautiful in the
softness of the sunrise.

Shall we roll again
in the downy sward?

Why are your poems so awesome?! They just get better and better and I’m jealous! Cool

I love it. It has a great structure which I love for its originality. And for the fact that it flows so wonderfully even though the stanzas are so different. You use great imagery and your wording and timing are just brilliant.

The only thing is the ending stanza. It’s nothing wrong with it but it’s just odd. As an ending as well as a part of this particular poem. But in a way it works.

Oh, and can I keep and print this poem? I’d love to put it in the “book” with favorite poems of mine.
