Running from the rain
There’s no turning back
I wont turn back
To the time my eyes
Cried like rain
Pouring and falling to the ground
Making puddles of sorrow
Flooding my mind
Of any thoughts to run away
From this misery
Past ode upon me
I wont go back
So I’m running from the rain
That hurts me so
Like a knife
Stabbed in my heart
It hurts me so
These tears that fall from my eyes
Where caused by a broken heart
I love with all my heart
But when it is broken
I just crash down
And it feels like my whole world is over
But this time
I run from the rain
I wont let it control me
Like it has before
I try
With all my strength
But the rain caught up with me
I guess there is no chance
Of me running away from a broken heart
It caught me
So here comes the rain
Falling from my eyes
Caused by a broken heart
