Yeah, it's not that far only 2 or 3 hours away. I got to see Green Day in Detroit during that part of the tour, my little brother had a hockey tournament there conveniently at the same time, so I was happy.

and what happened to tre getting up and doing 3 or 4 short songs on lead vocals/guitar? is that a thing that american idiot got rid of...?

Tre did it for some AI shows. But it was never really a "regular" thing, except in the Dookie days and before that..

what I wanna hear is Eye of the Tiger, cuz apparently they used to do it at their shows like in the Dookie era and such

I heard about that show...lucky.

at the concert i went to i think they played 'poprocks and coke'. i dont remember tough. i was to busy screaming my head off even though i had the crappiest seats ever. i was literaly "backstage."

At my show I can remember that they played 2000 lightyears away.
And in the begining Tré came and sang All by myself. But it was... altered a little.
Me and my friend I was with, we started laughing as soon as he said "And then I got an erection!"
It was awesome.

but in hamburg billie started to sing "schnappi das kleine krokodil" randomly, which he mightve heard on mtv in a hotel or sth XD
at the rock am ring green got owned by their fans who were asked on stage to play (the infamous part of each show) well and these fans rocked out so hard that the crowd cheered at them and screamed for more ^^
