Friend

Mi amiga...
My friend.
There's no one like you.
Through thick and thin
Hardship and triumpth
A friend such as you
deserves a lifetime of happiness.

Muy simpatico
Very sympathetic.
You're there when I need you
You provide me with all the the comfort I could ever want
With your full alacrity to make feel better,
I feel you are the only friend I have.

Muchos gracias
Thank you very much.
Wherever I go, you go
Whatever I need, you provide
You're just a friend in the world
But in this world, you're my best friend.

Okay, first off, if you're discussing a girl, it would be simpática. And since gracias is feminine, it needs to be Muchas.

Now that that's aside...

I don't really like the poem... It's very cliche with all the descriptions. It's very sweet, yes, but there just doesn't feel to be any emotion. Show, don't tell. How is she there when you need her? Describe how it has happened. Use imagery and metaphor with it.

I do like the spanish with it because that's interesting, but why do you use the spanish? Tell that in the poem or don't use it.

Keep writing, though! Everyone has to start somewhere. Very Happy
