Beatifical.

She has planted a flower
In welcoming spring
But long since it turned into winter

The reckless leaves started to grow
And purple petals to whisper

But the flower was step-over
By the cold, turning night
And she scarcely pleased for some light

And even though she brandished a fear
No one heard her call,
And all she wanted was change

My first writers circle entry. I will explain it a bit. I wanted to write a poem about us being making our own freedom. The flower here represents freedom and life. And there were good times before (spring), but now things our bad (winter). And the character here wants change and help from others (and then that picture comes into mind) that will last.
