remembering you thought it wouldnt happen to you
then the nurse came
you thought for a second what do you do?
Surgery's at 12:30 sharp
you hope they'll be late, they always are
well just your luck, 12:30 sharp
They wheel you in the OR room
you knocked out, like i a fist fight
Here comes your doom
Life passes before your sight
10 minutes go by
the max amount of blood is lost
nearby your husband sighs
the consistent beep turns to one long line, as dead as a post
the doctors try and try to bring you back
but its no use now
As the doctor comes out
all hear the loud crying of
the man who lost his dear wife
As he drags himself home
he sees his daughter and son
As he breaks the news, well some
they burst into tears
"Daddy, why did Mommy have to leave" said the daughter
"She's in a better place now honney"
As all cry
In one stray conner sit
the son as he sees all go by
"He's fallen into a dark pit"
Little did they know
he sank to a new low
As her coffin is lowered
the son isn't to be found
Until found in the bathroom
Dead on the floor like a dog in a pound |
