| September 25th, 2006 at 09:45pm Exploring Veitnam-era struggles that remain relevant, The U.S. vs. John Lennon tells the true story of the U.S. Government's attempts to silence John Lennon, the beloved musician and iconic advocate for peace. Featuring extensive interviews with those who knew him best, this powerful new look at the life and times of John Lennon captures the mystique of the man, the ideals he fought for, and the price he paid for simply trying to make the world a better place.
Apparently the film is or was --possibly depending on where you live -opening this month. Although I haven't seen it, I am definitely intending to.
Extra: John Lennon's son Sean Lennon has an album coming out this week entitled "Friendly Fire," so go check that out.
Don't get off-topic with this please. Simply discuss your views about the movie, whether the Government is responsible for Lennon's death, etc. |
