I'm not sure if it allowed you to make an account still, but I've seen screen shots of that also.
You had to have permission from your parents to join the site if you were under 13.
How did they manage that?
Get them drunk, give them the form to sign claiming "Mom, you should sign this so I can take part in the math contest at school  " |

This really pissed me off.

People on here even have the age 9 in their information.
