it was like eating a nice green crunchy apple and finding a maggot in it half way through and biting into it. |

i love their all-around simplicty. their songs are mind blowingly easy to play, but they still sound so very, very good. Jack White is a truly brilliant man.
I love Seven Nation Army. I don't have a clue what he's talking about, but it's fucking intense.

 | The white stripes own music, well next to green day. they are so amazing sometimes it hard to comprehend. they're basically the last classic rock band, because they have a mixture of rock and blues. Plus jack white is a lord of songwriting and singing. by the way, meg is way better than people think her to be. |

I am unable to choose what I think is their best song - there's just too many. Seven Nation Army, Blue Orchid, Fell In Love With a Girl and Icky Thump should all get a mention. All 4 of them completely different, yet all fantastic rock songs.
Pretty much anything off Elephant or Icky Thump is worth listening to.
It just seems to me that this band can do no wrong whatsoever. I could probably listen to them forever and not get bored. |
