Together We Aren't Stopped

So this guy Paul is the one I've fallen for and we stayed up on the phone last night to talk about our relationship together so far and we came up with a poem. I hope you all enjoy it.

In a world of fast velocity,
you make the momentum of my heart rapidly increase
But in its greatest leap of intensity,
it becomes still, and content as a gentle candle's flame.

You empower the body within me and within this barrier of love,
lust and power, its luminosity pours through your soul
But amidst this impenetrable force,
a weakness through which all that is you can pass.

Though choosing to endure the impervious force may be alluring,
you break through with a force even greater
Great in its power and in it's weight,
but great in its weakness and softness as well.

Your voice exceeds beyond any musical composition.
One would argue that it's truly God sent.
Just the sounds of your soul are so wide, and so deep.
They extend far into the dimensions of my heart.

Soulful compassion is the touch of an angel sent from above an in return,
a true blessing to this world and my heart as well.
And your love is what makes me true,
and what makes me feel like I can do anything.

And together we make the world better, just the two of us.
The truth is symphonic and yet heartbreaking in the fact that I know us together may cause some plight
But when we're together, none of that matters,
and there's nothing that could get in the way

Which reverbs back to that impervious force you so demonstrate.
That can break down the biggest barriers. Even those I've built in myself.
Together, our souls are intertwined and the destiny of love gives us space to fly
And you're the best part of me, and I of you. And we're lost without each others' guiding touch

Losing you would be the end of days
the reason the sun goes down so fast,
the reason I inevitably won't go on
But, in the end, I know I'll be okay no matter what happens.
...Because you said so.
