why? its not impossible
its a pretty strong rumour actually , they have also been discussed for reading and leeds.
longview17 Jackass Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 1457January 28th, 2009 at 04:43pm
but it doesn't look official at all
and reading and leeds are end of august
so theres not really any festivals they can play in july at all tbh
i heard they would headline download in june thought, but i'm not sure about that one, reckon it'll be too soon
i'd love them to headline leeds though
already have my ticket so it'd be amazing !

Well, the bit about them touring in July is true, however they announced their tour will begin in
North America already so this obviously isn't true, punktastic is NOT a reliable source.
From Billboard::Green Day will begin a North American arena tour in early July, to be followed by shows in Europe. The band will hit Japan, Southeast Asia and South America before returning for more North American shows in 2010.

I heard on Kerrang! that Green Day, AC/DC and Kings Of Leon might headline Reading.

AC/DC are apparently a weak rumour acording to the Leeds Fest website.

It even sounds weak just reading it.
